  • ABOUT us

    Rachel is the founder of Dynamic Family Consulting. Rachel has a wide range of experience, having previously worked as a Family and Litigation Lawyer, earned her Masters in Social Work and completed a Bachelor of Criminology. She is also a trained Parenting Coordinator.

  • family counselling

    Drawing upon her past legal background in dispute resolution (negotiation and mediation) and strong communication skills, Rachel can support parents, children and family units. She also works with couples experiencing relationship difficulties, couples who are contemplating separation and those who are on their journey after separation.

  • Parenting coordination

    In her role as a trained Parenting Coordinator, Rachel seeks to support parents to navigate the implementation of parenting orders and improve their communication skills. Her responsibilities in this space include; parental education and coaching, monitoring (i.e communications between the parties/compliance with orders) case management and dispute resolution.

  • FAMILY LAW REPORT WRITING

    We are available to prepare clear, balanced and child focused assessments (Child Impact and Family Reports) to assist families and the Court in making informed parenting decisions. We prepare Legal Aid & privately funded reports. With a professional background as a lawyer, Rachel brings a unique perspective to her work as a Family Law Report Writer. Her experience in legal practice has given her a strong understanding of the family law system, the Court’s requirements and the challenges families face when navigating disputes. Combined with her therapeutic training, this allows Rachel to bridge the gap between legal processes and the human needs of the families involved.

    Rachel believes in walking beside those that she works with. She has an open and empathetic approach, working collaboratively with you. Her approach is strengths based, supporting her clients to draw upon their own personal and family strengths and skills, to negotiate challenging circumstances, now and into the future. Whilst she understands the very important role of the legal system, Rachel also acknowledges the benefits for many families to have the opportunity to engage in a holistic approach, to navigate alternative strategies that work for them and their particular circumstances. This gives families the necessary support to have a voice in making decisions about their family.
